Dallas Outdoor Kitchens & Hardscape sells a wide variety of materials to be used for driveways, walkways, patios, floors, and swimming pool decks. These materials include pattern concrete, pavers, flagstone, aggregate, acid stain concrete, brushed concrete, micro finish concrete, epoxy floors, & travertine stone. In addition we sell wood decks made from cedar, redwood, exotic Brazilian hardwoods, & manmade composite materials. Each material has its own beauty and benefit. We will be happy to discuss with you what might work best for your particular project to achieve the most desirable finished look.

Pattern Concrete is sometimes referred to as stamped concrete or decorative concrete.  No matter what you call it, the finished product is the same. Pattern or stamped concrete is produced by either hand carving with small tools or by using a stamp pressed into it to leave an imprint in the surface of the concrete while it is still wet. A coloring or dye is added to the surface and is allowed to dry for at least 10 days or more while the concrete goes through a curing process. Once the pattern concrete has cured a final color and sealer is applied to give the decorative concrete its finished look. Stamped concrete not only is installed in new applications but can also be applied over most existing patios, pool decks, walkways, and driveways to give them an entirely new refreshed look.

In most cases old pattern concrete can be made to look new again by first cleaning it, then stripping the color from the surface, applying new color, and finally resealing it. If the existing concrete is in poor condition or has many cracks it may be impossible to resurface it and instead will need to be removed so new material can be installed. If it is just dull it may only need to be cleaned and resealed to bring it back to life, a process that is quick and relatively inexpensive.

Interlocking Pavers are another material that we install which is sometimes referred to as paving stones, brick pavers, stone pavers, or concrete pavers. This material is used extensively for high traffic areas such as driveways, walkways, and patios. We prefer to use Belgard pavers due to their strength, design, and beauty. Installing Belgard pavers in Dallas, Plano, Frisco, & McKinney area is a good alternative to concrete due to our expansive soil. Interlocking pavers can also be reset and releveled if necessary. Belgard Pavers come with a LIFETIME Warranty!

Concrete overlays are sometimes perferred when there is an existing concrete base that cannot be topped with a thick material. The overlays typically only add 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch in thickness. These concrete overlays are available in a wide variety of colors, textures, and patterns and are very durable as they cure out near 8500 psi which is almost triple the strength of normal concrete. Concrete overlays can be added to both new and old concrete base material.

Micro Finish, Acid Stain, & Epoxy Floors are the newest addition to our product line and can produce dramatic effects of high gloss, reflective coatings for concrete surfaces that are durable for both residential and commercial applications.

Below you will see many different examples of the materials that we install.
